Panaji, Nov 25: Panaji-based Tiatre Academy of Goa (TAG) has called for the entries for two awards – Lifetime Contribution Award in commercial and non commercial category.

“Applications are invited from the deserving and interested senior Tiatr artistes or recommendations from individuals/institutions/dramatic troupes in prescribed application form for the awards,” said a press note released here.

The Lifetime Contribution to Tiatr (commercial) award will be presented at a special function on the celebration of birth anniversary of Pai Tiatrist, Joao Agostinho Fernandes on December 14.

Lifetime Contribution to Tiatr (non-commercial) awards will be presented at a special function on the celebration of birth anniversary of Lucasinho Ribeiro on January 2 2016.

TAG has said: For eligibility, the age of the tiatr artiste should be more than 60 years and the artiste’s contribution to the various aspects of tiatr like acting, singing, script, direction, live music, back-ground music, light effects, make up, stage setting etc.

The prescribed application forms along with the detailed rules and regulations are available at Tiatr Academy Goa office at 2nd Floor, Campal Trade Centre, Campal, Panaji, Goa. The last date to submit the duly filled application form is December 4 during office hours.
