Mangaluru: MLA Lobo conducts ground breaking ceremony for temple lake

Mangaluru, Mar 19: MLA J R Lobo lit traditional lamp and conducted ground breaking ceremony for Thardolya Kordabbu temple lake on Saturday March 18.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that Rs 50 lacs are reserved under small irrigation project to maintain two lakes at Thardolya, Jeppinamogaru.

“The government is giving additional importance to rural lakes. The development of lakes helps in increasing ground water level. The government is also looking into the problems of environment, drinking water and health of the citizens,” he said.

    This is a very good initiative ..Mr Lobo is doing some good work . He should focus on youth and their employment in Mangalore organise job melas .
