Saudia Arabia introduces pre-entry arrival programme for pilgrims travelling from Malaysia

Riyadh, Aug 14 (Emirates 247): Saudi Arabia has launched a programme to facilitate arrival procedures of pilgrims travelling from international airports outside the Kingdom.

The General Directorate of Passports has assigned a number of employees to Kuala Lumpur airport in Malaysia to oversee entry procedures for pilgrims travelling from the Malaysian capital prior to their arrival in the Kingdom to perform Hajj, reported the Saudi Press Agency, SPA.

As a result, pilgrims will be processed quickly upon their arrival in Saudi, following a brief identification verification process.

623,313 pilgrims have arrived in the Kingdom up until August 12th, added SPA.
