Puttur, Sep 18: St Philomena College, here, on Thursday, September 14, the Science Forum, in the college auditorium.
Campus director Dr Antony Prakash Montiero formally inaugurated the programme. He said, "Science and scientific approach plays a prominant role in the life of the people."
Head of deparment of Physics Dr A P Radhakrishna presided over the programme. Dean of Science prof Udaya K and the president of Science Forum Kenjomini graced the occasion. Convenor of Science Forum Chandrashekhar K delivered the introductory speech.
On the occasion, a quiz programme was conducted for students. Sathyajith Upadhyaya of Ambika Pre University College Puttur was the quiz master.
Inchara and group performed a prayer. Shruthi U welcomed the gathering. Vanyashree proposed the vote of thanks. Anarghya S compered the programme.
