PM compromised security by flying in single engine plane: Omar

Srinagar, Dec 13 (IANS): Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Tuesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi violated security guidelines by flying in a single engine seaplane.

In a statement on his twitter page, he said: "How is it that the security guidelines were relaxed for this flight? No Z+ protectee is allowed to fly in a single engine aircraft, much less the PM of our country".

On the last day of campaign for the second and final phase of Gujarat elections, Modi flew in a single engine seaplane that landed on the Sabarmati river.
