Mangaluru, Dec 18: MLA U T Khader urged the union and state government, not to implement National Register of Citizens (NRC) in any state as it targets Muslim community.

Addressing media here on Wednesday, December 18, U T Khader said, “Union government is targeting Muslim community by implementing Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) and it has some hidden agenda. There has been widespread agitation throughout the country and even the allies of BJP are opposing CAB as there are some drawbacks in it. The government should not go forward with the decision.”

He also said, “Government should have taken the public and expert opinion before implementing the bill. Our nation is secular. The bill needs to have some amendments, so that other community people will not have any problem. In the name of implementing CAB and NRC, BJP is targeting Muslim community.”

The Central government is involved in electoral politics. Congress united people in seven decades but BJP is destroying this unity in their short tenure. Congress closed all the connections with Pakistan but BJP on the other hand has opened communication with Pakistan. In the name of Pakistan and some sensitive issue, they secured votes and gained power, alleged U T Khader.

    I dont think we as minorities should worry about NRC or CAA. Catholics are not going to be affected. Why should we entertain such illegal immigrants from bordering BD and Pak???. As it is, every European, American or any country for that matter is having a huge problem due to these immigrants who are creating havoc there. Last night there was a huge blaze due to clashes in an 'immigrant subberb'. Why should India entertain,? For a change I tend to agree here,

    you or your party never think about Kashmiri pandits who have been driven out from Kashmir valley & still they live in tents in Delhi. why you are worried about pakistan, bangladesh people who illegally residing in India & doing illegal activity. let them go back to their country. why our tax payers money being used for their benefit.

    NRC was initiated by Congress party and SC given the green signal & finally BJP implementing it. this is the fact. now how come congress escape from it. don't divide the people on religion base, your party already done that in 1947. don't mislead the muslim community. from last 70 years they have been used as vote bank politics by congress party. again you are misleading them.

    The entire country is on flames because of hasty implementation of CRC & CAB.
    Already the economy is going through the bad pace and inflation rate has increased, unemployment is making educated youth remain frustrated and now India's students are agitating and wrestling with police in view of these amendments. All the opposite parties, economists and experts have felt the negative impact of these bills. Besides, it costs 100's of Lac rupees to our exchequer. The present restlessness which going on in India will surely effects our aim attract direct foreign investments.

    With CAA and NRC, though not causing any harm to Indian Muslims, they are successful in alienating Muslims from other minorities.Muslims shooting from Christian's shoulders will stop.

    ..there is also a report in DW with caption "SC asks Centre to publicise CAA to counter fake news"..its clear from this that SC also aware that propaganda has been created by vested interest on CAA..many still doesnt know NRC is implemented by SC, opposition completely misleading citizens.....so don think NRC/CAA wil be stayed by SC..

    Its not new everybody knows that they are following the ideologies of Coward man who compromised and apologized with British govt and started writing against India and drew a monthly salary from British govt.

    It is there hidden agenda to make all minorities a second class citizens of India By Jinnah Party.

    And they are working towards it and this is the starting step towards it.

    If you compare India economically at current and 10 years back, you feel it like those back 10 years are Golden Ages. These people are only good in winning election by making communal hatred between Indians.

    I just can't understand whats the problem...any one has any one of the following, who's name is in ration card, who has DL, who has voter id, who has birth certificate, who has pancard, who has land telephone no., Wo has permanent postal address...can get entry to NRC.....NRC is nothing but a book or register of citizens of India...its a absolute shame even after 70 plus years we don't have a list of citizens, congress party should had done this way before.

    Lets help all those real Indians, who are illiterate, poor and who may find difficult to get one if these documents, but please understand the country needs a list of its citizens. As far as i know, even the poorest, illeterate people have voter ID..... please don't mislead people....let the good work get started. For NRC not only Muslims, Hindus, Christians and all have to give documents..... don't spread fake news and create panic..

    NRC ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಕಿಸ್ತಾನ, ಬಾಂಗ್ಲಾದೇಶ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಫ್ಘಾನಿಸ್ತಾನದ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರಿಗೆ ಪೌರತ್ವ ನೀಡಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಏಕೆ ನಿಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಈ ದೇಶದ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು #ಹೋರಾಟ_ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದೇರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಈ ಮೂರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮೇತರರಿಗೆ ಏಕೆ CAB ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೌರತ್ವ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಎಂದು #ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. NRC ಹಾಗೂ CAB(A) ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಈ ದೇಶದ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರ ನಿಜವಾದ ಕಳವಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಆತಂಕವೆಂದರೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ, ಬೆಳೆದು ಇಲ್ಲಿಯ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರಿಗೆ ಪೌರತ್ವ ಸಾಬೀತು ಮಾಡಲು #1971ರ ಮುಂಚೆಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನ (ಪುರಾತನ ದಾಖಲೆ ಬೇಕು ಈ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಗೆ) ನೀಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದೇ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸೆಂಟರ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಹಾಕಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ತನ್ನದಲ್ಲದ ತಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಈ ದೇಶದ ನಿಜವಾದ ನಾಗರಿಕನಾದ ಅವನ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವೇಕೆ ಹಾಳಾಗಬೇಕು..?

    ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಜನ ಈಗಲೂ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕಡು ಬಡವರು ಹಾಗೂ ದಿನಗೂಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ, ಚಿಕ್ಕಪುಟ್ಟ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲೂ ಕೂಡ ಇವರು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಈ ಶತಮಾನದಲ್ಲೂ ಕೂಡ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಬಡ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಇನ್ನೂವರೆಗೂ ಒಂದು ಅಡಿ ಜಾಗವಿಲ್ಲದವರು ಇದಾರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ತಮ್ಮದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಯಾವುದೇ ಆಸ್ತಿ ಪಾಸ್ತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಜನರಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಇವರ ಬಳಿ ಅದು ಯಾವ
    ಪುರಾತನ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ದಾಖಲೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತೆ ಹೇಳಿ....?

    #NRC ಗೆ ದಾಖಲೆ ನೀಡದೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಇವರ ಗತಿ ಏನು..? ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಇತರರಿಗೆ 2014ರ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ ದಾಖಲೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಸಾಕು CAB(A) ಕಾಯ್ದೆ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೌರತ್ವ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತೆ, ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಇತರ ವಲಸಿಗರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆ ಆಗಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ದೇಶದ ನಾಗರಿಕನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಪುರಾತನ ದಾಖಲೆ (ಅಸ್ಸಾಂ NRC ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 1971ರ ಮುಂಚೇಯ ದಾಖಲೆ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿದೆ) ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ವಿಫಲವಾದ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಏನು ಎಂದು ಈ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡಿರುವ ಆತಂಕವಾಗಿದೆ.

    #ಅಸ್ಸಾಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಮುಂಚೆಯೇ NRC ಮುಗದಿದೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ 10 ಲಕ್ಷ ಜನ ದಾಖಲೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದ ಭಾರತೀಯರು ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ 5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಜನ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮೇತರರು ಇದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಇವಾಗ CAB ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೌರತ್ವ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಉಳಿದ 5 ಲಕ್ಷ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರನ್ನ ಸೆಂಟರನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಎಂದರೆ ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಲವು ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾರತ ಸೈನ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ಸೈನಿಕರ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಹೆಸರು NRC ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ..!

    ರಾಜಕೀಯ ನಾಯಕರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಭಾರತದ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರಿಗೆ ಈ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯಿಂದ ತೊಂದರೆಯಾಗಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು, ಹೌದು ತೊಂದರೆ ಆಗಲ್ಲ ಅದು ಯಾರಿಗೆ.? ಎಂದರೆ ಯಾರು (1971) ಪುರಾತನ ದಾಖಲೆ ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆಯಾಗಲ್ಲ. ದಾಖಲೆ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ವಿಫಲವಾದ ನಿಜವಾದ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಇವರು.

    ಒಬ್ಬ ಒಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಪಾಯಿಂಟ್ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಈ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಥನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಸಮರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

    ಅದೇ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಕೂಡ ದಾಖಲೆ ನೀಡಲು ವಿಫಲವಾದ ಈ ದೇಶದ ನಿಜವಾದ ನಾಗರಿಕನಾದ ತನ್ನ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಜನರ ಪಾಡೇನು ಎಂದು ಚಿಂತಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಹೊರತು ಪಕ್ಕದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿನ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರಿಗೆ ಏಕೆ ಪೌರತ್ವ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅಲ್ಲ. ನೀವು ಯಾರಿಗಾದರೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕೊಳ್ಳಿ, ವಿರೋಧವಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅವರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ 2012ರ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ 2014ರ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಳಸಿಗರಿಗೆ ಪೌರತ್ವ ನೀಡಲು ಹೋರಾಟ ಇದೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನೀವೇ ದೇಶದ ಈಗಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಇವೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಇತರರಿಗೆ ಪೌರತ್ವ ಏಕೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೀರಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರನ್ನ ತರಾಟೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಅಂದು ಆದರೆ ಇಂದು ನೀವೇ ಕೊಡಲು ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ ದೇಶದ ಜನ ಅದನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆ ಕುರಿತು ಚಿಂತೆಯಿಲ್ಲ.

    ದಾಖಲೆ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ವಿಫಲವಾದ ನಿಜವಾದ ಈ ದೇಶದ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಭವಿಷ್ಯವೇನು..? ತಪ್ಪು ನೀವು ರಾಜಕೀಯದವರು ಮಾಡುವ ತಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಏನು ಅರಿಯದ ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಗಳನ್ನ ಸೆಂಟರನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಳೆಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

    ಇನ್ನೂ ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಾವೇರಿದ್ದು #ಈಶಾನ್ಯ_ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ #ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರೋರು #ಹಿಂದೂಗಳು ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಕುರಿತು, ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಹಾಗೂ ಹಕ್ಕು ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚಿಂತಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ವಲಸಿಗರಿಗೆ CAB ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೌರತ್ವ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮತ್ವ ತಪ್ಪಿ ನಾವು ಮುಂದೆ ವಲಸಿಗರ ಅಡಿಯಾಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯವರು ಆಗುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂಬ ವಿಚಾರದಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಲಿ CAB ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.

    don't spread fake stories. for getting govt benefit schemes everyone having the documents but for CAA, NRC you says they don't have.

    can we believe that? here the politicians are worried about their vote bank politics only & it is nothing to do with Indian muslims.

    Similar was the opinion(hidden agenda) during Demonetization. FEKHU said and pleaded with folded hands...just give me 50 days in crocodile tears otherwise shoot me at four square junction(Chowrahe pe) These were the words then by our Gober-Mind current P.M. What happened later we all are the witness to it. So obvoiusly citizens have no trust left on anything that is implemented in middle of the nights(dark hours) I think time is not far away this time if he says again give me 50 days and co-operate or else Kashmiris will will be the first for an opportunity to fire the first shot.

    Before saying anything you should check NRC facts...NRC brought by Congress..Expel of Immigrant act brought by Congress Govt 2-3 decades earlier..now SC is updating NRC not BJP central Govt..while starting process SC Chief justice of India Mr. Gogoi who is also assami said"The NRC is base document for future..its not a new idea. It expressed as early as in the year 1951 and in 1985 when the Assam accord was signed. the current NRC is an attempt to update the 1951 NRC".. its nothing to do with BJP at all...so pls stop spreading lies which already proved very damaging in other states..

    NRC is for everyone. It can pain only those illegally staying over here. In several posts it is amply clarified that while CAA /CAB is for persecuted minorities in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, NRC will be for everyone in India. When such is the case, why some cry wolf!

    Yes and no please. Muslims who are not Indian citizens need to be alert. No need to worry as far as Muslims who are already Indian citizens. Anything said beyond this is only for political mileage and not a reality either now or later as that amounts to crossing constitution. Watch Mr. Harish Salve, the eminent constitutional lawyer, on YouTube channel. How nicely he explains why CAA is within the Indian Constitutional provisions. And, today’s observations and denial to give a stay to its operations by the Supreme Court is an indication in that direction as well. If it was blatantly wrong, as some politicians, such as this ex Minister, see the SC would have put a break today itself.
