Patrick D'Souza (76), son of the late Baptist D'Souza and the late Josphine Roche, husband of Lavina D'Souza (nee Rodrigues), father of Shanthi / Sunil D'Sa and Neil, grandfather of Shaunna and Simona, brother of Vincent/Zita, Rita, Blanch/Antony D'Souza and Victoria/the late Claudy Roche passed away on November 9, 2024.

Mortal remains will be brought to the residence "D'Souza Compound", Morgans Gate, Jeppu, Mangalore on Monday, November 11 at 2.00 pm. Funeral cortege leaves for Cascia Church Cemetery Chapel at 3.30 pm, followed by Mass at 4.00 pm.

It's very sad to know that our dear Patty Uncle is no more. He was a very nice, kind, and simple man. Just a few days ago, I met his daughter Shanthi at the Milagres Church grounds, enquired about Patty Uncle, and told her I would visit him soon. But before I could, I received this sad news. Until we meet again, goodbye, Patty Uncle. I'm sure you will meet my dad, Gabbam, in heaven, and he will be happy to see you there. Heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. When an affable familiar person departs it's always painful. I recall Patrick and his familiar smile be it at his home or at Cascia church, during the years i spent at Morgan's Gate. He and his family always made an impression on me. A calm, friendly and smiling face that is never forgotten..... The Almighty embraces Patrick in the great paradise and showers blessings of consolation on all his near and dear. Death is extinguishing the lamp because the dawn has come, just another side of the same coin that is life.
