Reuben John Nicholas Nazareth (86), son of the late Denis Nazareth and the late Hilda Nazareth, brother of the late Rudolph / Mary, the late Sr Mary Beatrice, PCPA, the late Sr Mary Joseph, PCPA, Ronald / Mira, Sr Josephette, CSST and Ralph / the late Linda, uncle of Rosanna, Mark, Rosetta, Martin, Sr Mary Denise, PCPA (Romona), the late Mathew, Merlin, Raynah, Reisha, Rochelle, Marvin, Sheila, Anita, Aneel, Anjali and Anaka, granduncle of 31 grandnieces and nephews, passed away on December 11, 2024.
Mortal remains will be brought to St Lawrence Church, Bondel, Mangalore on Saturday, December 14 for viewing at 2.30 pm. Funeral Mass and Rites will commence at 3.00 pm. This will be followed by Interment at the Bondel Church cemetery.
Reuben Nazareth, LL B. was a scholar who gave weekly discourses on the Bible at the Theosophical Society for over two decades. The libraries of many religious institutions in Mangalore, including Jeppu Seminary, are the beneficiaries of the books in his extensive collection.
To family and others in his large circle of friends, he was an unfailing source of counsel and wisdom.
