Alwyn Peter Rego (59), son of the late J B Rego and the late Jessy Rego, husband of Roopa Rego(Castelino), father of Roger and Reona Rego, brother of Janet, Godwyn, Melwyn, Mariette, Lynette, the late Annette, Vinette, Charlotte and Hariette. Brother in law of Rupesh and Ritesh Castelino, passed away in Abu dhabi on January 8, 2025.

I came to Abu Dhabi in 2008 in search of a job and was staying with Frankie Uncle and Marriet Aunty. I was apprehensive about my future and in the very second day of my stay, I was introduced to Batti (Alwyn Uncle) and Roopa Aunty and Little Roger. He made me feel welcome and comfortable and never once he made feel like an outsider, Always part of the Clan. Showering me words of wisdom and encouragement. That is my fondest memory of him. My Condolences to the Roopa Aunty, Roger and Riona and to the entire Rego Clan. May his soul rest in Peace. Amen
