Dearest Rima, John, Vivek, Magda, Bethany, Anthony, Gabriel, Katherine and Miriam, there are no words that can bring comfort for the loss of such a beautiful, kind and loving person that A. Ivy was. March 21st was indeed a very sad day. Close as she was to mom I know their regular conversation were so heart warming. I treasure all the conversations I had with her and remember our last meeting in Australia. Your cousins and relatives in America deeply share this loss with all of you.

A truly stately lady, she was more than just a teacher to us in OLPS, Chembur, Mumbai —she was a mentor who instilled in us the love of learning and the joy of curiosity. Aunty Ivy was kind, loving and full of warmth. I am deeply saddened by her passing but feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend time with her during my visit. Those moments will always remain close to my heart. One special memory that comes to mind is watching AFL with her cheering on the Sydney Swans—moments I will always cherish. To our family, Ivy was the heart that kept us connected, the light that brightened our darkest days, and the laughter that filled our home. She shared a special bond with each of us, one that will forever remain etched in our hearts. As a daughter, she was a source of pride and happiness to our parents, always showing them love, respect, and gratitude. As a sister, she was our confidante, our cheerleader, and our best friend. As an Aunt were just as precious. She had a unique way of making people feel valued and loved. She listened with an open heart, gave without expecting anything in return, and created countless memories filled with love and laughter. She had an uncanny ability to understand and support us, no matter what challenges we faced. Ivy touched so many lives with her warmth and sincerity, always putting others before herself.
