Sr Teresa of Jesus, OCD (Hilda Philomena Crasta) (66) (Sacred Heart Monastery, Cloistered Carmel, Kankanady, Mangalore / Kannada Kudru, Gangolli Parish), daughter of the late Robert Peter Crasta and the late Nathalia Alice Lewis, sister of the late Rophine, the late Alfred/Ascess, the late Victor/Agnes, Raymond/Sophia, Mathew/Rita, Blanch/the late Avith, Felix/Maria, Oswald/Shaila, Vilma/Theodora, Gerald/Jyothi, Melwin/Anitha and the late Shanti, passed away on April 17, 2025.
Funeral details :
Date: Monday, April 21
Venue: Sacred Heart Monastery Chapel, Cloistered Carmel, Kankanady (opposite Father Muller's), Mangalore
Public Viewing: 12:00 - 1:30 pm.
(Please note: This will be the only opportunity for close public viewing from the central area of the chapel. Thereafter, the body will be reposed in the cloister's enclosed choir area for the remainder of the service and will only be visible from a distance.)
Office of the Dead: 1:30 - 2:30 pm.
Bishop's Visit and Blessing: 2:30 pm.
Funeral Mass: 3:00 pm.
Burial to follow in the Monastery cemetery.
