With deep sorrow, yet firm Christian hope, we mourn the passing of our dear friend Glany, who was called home to the Lord at the young age of 41. Glany’s life, though brief by human measure, was rich in love, friendship, and faith. He touched many hearts with his kindness, generosity of spirit, and quiet strength. To know Glany was to know a soul who cared deeply, loved sincerely, and walked humbly through life. As Catholics, we commend Glany to the infinite mercy of God, trusting in the promise of Christ: “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live.” (John 11:25) Though we grieve his passing, we do not grieve without hope. We believe that Glany now rests in the peace of Christ, where every tear is wiped away and eternal joy awaits. May the Lord grant him eternal rest, and may perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
