John Lobo (91), husband of Lilly Braggs, father of William/Mamatha, Walter/Preetha, Santhosh, Glen Anand /Harriet, grandfather of Melita, Melton, Amanda and Adiva, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Mortal remains will be kept for viewing at the residence on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 2 pm. Funeral service will be held at Mai De Deus Church Yelmudi cemetery, Puttur at 3:40 pm.

Dearest Lilly Voni, William, Walter, Santhosh and Glen, We join you today in mourning the sad demise of your husband / father. End of an era, the last of our cousins from my father's side of the family was called by God to his eternal reward and taken into the arms of Jesus. I am the resurrection and the life, whoever believes in me shall live even if he dies (John 11:25). We are filled with this hope and assurance that our loved one is at rest with our beloved Father. John Bab was very dear to us. Our parents were very fond of him. He always visited us in Mangalore and later in Bombay. We will miss his occasional phone calls too. He would refer to us as his sisters. Please accept our deepest & heartfelt condolences. We pray that the many happy memories of his life with all of you will, with time, help you to overcome the sadness & pain and cope with this loss.
