Eugenie Colaco (98), wife of the late Harry Colaco, mother of Allan/Mirabel, the late Owen, Aaron, Reena/Eric and Robin/Lara, grandmother of Andrea, Eva, Renver and Caren, passed away on April 24, 2026.

Mortal remains will be brought to St Sebastian's Church, Bendore, Mangalore on Monday, April 27 at 9.30 am for public viewing. Funeral Mass at 10.00 am.

No flowers please.

I am 88 years old. Teacher Eugenie Mascarenhas was my class teacher at Marjil. She must be the last one my teachers to pass away .l still visualize her, smart in a knee length dress, hair neatly combed back,(a typical Catholic teacher of my younger days)fair, good looking, rather on the plumpier side, was kind, gentle and soft spoken.She had left an indelible impression on me , as she taught me the meaning of 'gratitude' and what it ought to be. This day l share the grief of all her dear ones and say that you have indeed lost a noble soul.
