A loving mother you had always been
Although many a trouble you had seen
Affectionate and gentle in all your ways
You helped the poor and needy always. 

You suffered much in silence
Your spirit did not bend
God saw you getting tired
And he whispered   “Come with me”. 

In tears we watched you sinking
We watched you fade away
And though our hearts were breaking
We knew you could not stay. 

Your life was love and labour
Your love for your family true
You did your best for all of us
We will always remember you. 

With your loving smile and gentle face
You did your best to run life’s race
Close in our hearts you will always stay
Loved and remembered every day.
