Dear Bavoji, A year has gone and there are countless times when we have remembered you, in thoughts, in our talks, in our references and when a loved one wept for you. Today we honour the legacy of Dr. Norbert Lobo. Not only will Dr Lobo be remembered for his many prestigious achievements in economics but also for his honorable life in which he was a devoted husband to Mrs. Anita Lobo and a loving father to his daughters Anora Niomi and Anoma Nehel. Dr. Norbert will forever be cherished for his leadership roles in our community and at St. Aloysius College where he served as an educator and mentor to countless students and as a friend and esteemed colleague to his peers. Someone so loved as Dr. Lobo makes his passing at 56 years of age hard to bear, but we take comfort knowing he is at peace with our Lord Jesus Christ in heaven. Because he has left such a lasting impact on those of us who admired him, his distinguished flame will never go out in our hearts and minds. God’s blessings to his loved ones who continue to honor and cherish his memory through the celebration of his life’s achievements.
