Mangalore: MLA U T Khader is Secretary of KPCC

Mangalore, Apr 23: MLA U T Khader has been named secretary of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee. He was selected for the post with the approval of All India Congress president Sonia Gandhi. Khader was selected as district NSUI secretary in 1990, NSUI president in 1993, state NSUI vice-president in 1995, and senate member of Mangalore University.

From 2000 onwards, he has served as Ullal Block congress president, national trainer of Akhila Bharatha Congress Sevadala, Karnataka state Seva Dal leader, KPCC member, and was MLA of Mangalore. He has also been active in various social associations.

Oscar Fernandes, G Parameshwar, M Veerappa Moily, B Janardhan Poojary, Vinay Kumar Sorake, Janab B A Moidin, Ramanath Rai, Prathapchandra Shetty, Abhayachandra Jain, and Vasanth Bangera supported him in the representation to the state committee as its secretary.

Mr. Khader was my School mate at Aloysius, Mangalore and he was an enthusiastic, energetic, active, and lovely kind person.Then I have been reading and hearing more about him through media and my friends. He is a kind of person who is willing to help the humans irrespective of caste creed color and religion.I Knew more good things about him recently from one of my colleague cum friend who resides at Ullal and works with me at Riyadh and really I am excited and thrilled of his selection for the general secretary of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee secretary.
