Bantwal: Man walking beside railway tracks killed by train

Bantwal, Sep 16: A man was killed by a running train at Modankap in Bantwal police station limits.

The deceased is Mundadi resident Pravin Poojary (40). He was mentally unstable and it is suspected that he might have been walking by the side of the railway tracks. It is said that he was hit hard on his head by the train passing by and he died due to loss of blood. His body was found in the shrubs nearby.

The local residents who found him alerted the Bantwal police station.

Town station SI Avinash visited the spot, identified him and informed the railway department.

    Many people from village or even educated ones too have the habit of walking carelessly on railway tracs which at last take away their life.Some walk with head phone in ears so that they dont hear the wistle of train or sound.Its a art killing themselves.Here we cant blame railways.Sad for the man and his family.Heartfelt sympathy to his family.May his soul rest in peace.

    Wah re wah what a logic comment....Zabardast !!!. Cows are yammi in neighbouring states and mommy in our state and mummies are abandoned on streets in heavy rain, leave to graze garbage and allow theives steal them......
