Mangaluru: Illegal sand transportation – Eight arrested, two pick-up vehicles confiscated

Mangaluru, Sep 17: Ullal police confiscated two pick-up vehicles and arrested eight people in connection with illegal sand transportation that came to light from the CCTV camera installed near Vijaya Bank of Talapady based on the complaint filed by Malini, chief officer of Kotekar Panchayat in Ullal police station on September 15.

The arrested accused are Riyaz (29), resident of Kaje, Talapady, Aboobacker (53), resident of K C Road, Raghunatha (40), resident of Kudru House, near Vijaya Bank Talapady, Rajesh (50), resident near Check post of Talapady, Muttalib alias Muttali (40), resident of K C Road, Atul (22), Kudru House, Talapady, Ramdhari (28), resident of Kudru House, Talapady and Pankaj (24), resident of Kudru House, near Talapady.

The registration numbers of the pick-up vehicles that are confiscated at KL 08 F 8490 and KA 19 AB 1623.

    I can ONLY see "BHAICHARA" in this, who says WE can be SEPARATED by the 'HATE SPEECH " or "RELIGION", There's a 'LESSON OF UNITY' from this "GROUP". MAYBE SOME PEOPLE DID NOT GET"CHARA" SO THEY ARRESTED THESE"BHAI'S"

    When there is rampant unemployment and ends do not meet few will brave to take a fistful from the loot of established kingpins... At times they risk the possibility of getting apprehended and shamed... Governments and law machinery never try to address the larger reasons behind any issue... They will instead keep punishing a few weak fellows...
