Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Sep 18: In an incident that occurred at Nanthoor Junction, a student of PU college was stabbed and seriously injured by the coursemates from another pre-university college.

A second year student of PU college that is situated near Nanthoor was walking along with his friends on the evening of September 15 after finishing the classes. He was approached by two students of another PU college and asked to accompany them behind a temple nearby on the pretext of speaking to him. As the trio reached the temple, the student of Nanthoor PU college was stabbed viciously by the other two students. He is admitted to a hospital.

The stabbed student had a strife with one of the trio which had ended in a compromise. The two students who stabbed him were not in favour of the compromise and so they allegedly attacked the Nanthoor PU college student as per a complaint filed in East police station of the town.

Both the attackers and the victim are 17 years old boys in conflict with the law. Police said that the parents of all the boys involved were informed and a report was submitted to the Juvenile Justice Board.
