Its shocking to see the van condition.I would say and blame only the government, civil service people who are responsible for providing wide broad safe roads. The roads are simply baptised as national highways but they do not meet the requirement.Crores of rupees collected from people by stamp duty, revenue, excise taxes and income taxes but only spent on personal expenses of ministers.Crores spent on airfare and helicopters for ministers. We need another anna hazare to widen the roads.

May god rest their soul in peace.......its very sad news....6 lives has been lost....plz give patience to the family members.  Unless u follow the rules and regulations of the traffic u wont be safe in road. in india its hardly 5 % of the people follows rules and regulations even though they are not safe bcoz of rest of the 95% people who drive reckless and i request union govt to make NH 48 upto bagalore as a four lane.

First of all condolences and may God give strength to the surviving members of the family to bear this incredible loss.

    A few thoughts :

We should not allow Cars without Air Bags on Indian Roads.
We should allow these monster trucks to ply on these narrow roads.
Over crowding in Cars should be punished with punitive fines.

Mr.Sunil from Mangalore, please be still, till schools reopen. Each Omni carries atleast 15 children or more. Have you seen any Omni going at slow speed. Sometimes you can see a child sitting on lap of driver. Just immagine that child grabing the steering wheel and the tragedy forth coming. When I spent my own time and met traffic inspector at RT office in Mangalore regarding this problem,His answer was that he can't take care of every problem existed. They charge fine for overloaded lorries but let go overloaded City Buses. What a wonderful city we all live in. This is why this lovely town has become heaven for lawlessness. Every Government office has become a DEN of Corruption.

This is very shocking and sad/tragic news.Whether we call it a fate/destiny or reckless driving, impact of the accident was so grave wherein five precious lives have been lost on the spot.At this hour of grief what we can do is pray Almighty God to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and bestow enough strength and energy to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss rather than keep on writing. This is what we can only do our best at this hour of need.May God be with bereaved family at this hour of mental agony to console them.

Only family members knows the loss. These type of accident bound to happen in Dk/udupi region. Drivers are not following proper method while driving. There is lot of risk takers in our roads. Speed and not driving in proper lane is main reason for accident. Specially in curve, no one sticks to their side / lane.
