Dubai, Apr 25: In the solar system of music, Dadasaheb Phalke Awardee Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar is the unrivalled star. And this shining legend gets a tribute from Dr. Mandar V. Bichu through the book ‘Lata – Voice of the Golden Era’, which was released on Saturday, 23rd April, 2011 by Chief Guest, Padmashri awardee Dr. B. R. Shetty, MD & CEO, NMC Group. In line with its continuing efforts to promote art and literature, UAE Exchange, the leading name in global remittance and foreign exchange, supported the unique initiative.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. B. R. Shetty said, “Lataji’s life is a penance for music, which made her the Nightingale of India.
