Chikkamagaluru, Sep 24: Union minister Shobha Karandlaje said that time is nearing to ban SDPI and PFI.
Speaking to reporters at Moodigere, Shobha said, “The NIA is collecting evidence in order to ban SDPI and PFI. These organizations are involved in anti-national activities. They played role in several murders that have taken place in our state. These organizations are involved in terrorist activities throughout the country. They are trying to create friction between religions. During the investigation, NIA has unearthed many evidences of anti-national work by these organizations.
“It has come to light that the members of SDPI and PFI have manufactured bombs and also conducted explosions as trial. In Kerala, these organizations are operating at a mammoth level. They have attacked police and media condemning the raid of NIA on their offices. These are another form of SIMI and need to be banned immediately,” she said.
