Mangaluru: 11th Jerry Bondel Nite mesmerizes Konkani packed audience

Mangaluru, Sep 25: The '11th Jerry Bondel Nite' once again mesmerized the Konkani audience with its superb rendition of songs, music, and dance at the Don Bosco Hall here on Saturday September 25.

The musical show was presented on the occasion of the release of Jerry Bondel's new Konkani songs album ,'Chintnam, Bhognnam, Sopnnam'. The musical extravaganza was organized in collaboration with Vishwarani Live Studio, Gattikudru and Swagath Auto Works, Nanthoor. The event was dedicated to the late Praveen Fernandes and Alwyn D'Cruz.

Eric Ozario, Gurkar Maandd Sobhann,  Anil Lobo, chairman, MCC Bank,  Walter Nandalike, founder,  Dainiworld Media Pvt Ltd, Roy Castelino, PRO, Mangaluru Diocese, Roshan D'Souza Angelore, music director, Franklin D'Cunha, JCI, Jude Noronha, anchor, John Suresh, proprietor JMJ Constructions were present as the chief guests. Lilly D'Souza, mother of Jerry Bondel released the album songs from a pendrive.

 

Wishing Jerry and his team, Walter Nandalike said, "Jerry has already completed 10 successful musical nites. Today he is going to perform the 11th one. We are all gathered here to wish him. It's a formality. But there is a golden opportunity in front of us to wish him heartily. Today he released a musical album . If we purchase the album, that is a big support to him from our side. We have already come out of the Covid lockdowns and the Konkani entertainment world is slowly getting back to track. Now it is our responsibility to help and support them."

In his speech, Anil Lobo said, "Despite health issues, Jerry is engaging himself in singing and writing songs. He is an inspiration to all of us. Personally, I am very much impressed with Jerry Bondel's dedication and hardwork. I am assuring him of my support in his future nites too. "
Wishing the Jerry Nite team, Roy Castelino said, "Jerry Bondel is already known in the Konkani world for his songs and lyrics. Now he has come up with his 11th nite to entertain us. I wish him all the success in his future projects and I wish a pleasant experience to all the artistes who are going to perform today" 

Team Jerry Bondel Nite felicitated Eric Ozario and Roshan Angelore for their immense contribution to Konkani music. 

Eminent singers Prajoth D'Sa, Shilpa Cutinha, Ivy D'Souza and Ashwin D'Costa lent their melodious voices to the songs during the nite. Meanwhile, Daijiworld Duet Singing Star and SOAD-5 winner Sonal Monteiro, young singers Shalet Castelino, Aannia Rodrigues, Urban Ranipura, Wify Manjeshwar, Praveen Mudipu, Lional Kulur, Leslie D'Cruz, Rudy D'Sa, Mumbai, Rolston Pinto, Raviraj D'Souza, Johny Miranda, Ditesh Kulur, Jiya Mendonca, Master Lawrence and Oldrin D'Souza  also crooned during the event.

The musical nite was hosted by Tridev fame Floyd D'Mello Cascia, Roshan Crasta Paldane and Preetham Noronha Fajir.
Music was provided by Rajesh-Rajendra and team. Dance was performed by Dance Stars Studio, Mangaluru.

Lenet Castelino, retired police officer, was the coordinator of the event.
