Mangaluru, Sep 27: Surathkal police have registered two separate cases on members of a drug gang, which kidnapped a 16-year-old boy from Pelathur near Katipalla and looted cash and mobile phone from him.
Abhishek Shetty (24) and Chethan (23), residents of Katipalla are the accused arrested by the police.

The accused fell on a deserted road with injuries in order to fool the boy. As the teenager arrived on that road, the arrested culprits asked his help as he was riding a two-wheeler. Then they forcibly took the boy to the ATM and asked him to withdraw money and took him to bar and consumed liquor from the money of the teenager. Later they threatened the teenager, took his mobile phone and escaped from the spot.
Surathkal police are investigating further.
