Bantwal, Sep 27: “The BJP government is committed to decimate PFI, which is trying to upset the democratic system through violence. The work of police in this direction needs to be appreciated. I congratulate the police,” said district in-charge minister Sunil Kumar.
Sunil was speaking to the media at B C Road on Tuesday September 27. He further said, “The union and state governments are taking merciless action on people who do not believe in democracy and who are anti-socials. It has come to light that PFI was involved in the murder of Hindu activists during the rule of Congress and also in the recent Shivamogga and Puttur murder cases.
“The NIA and state police have taken serious action against PFI. The BJP government will not give opportunity for anti-social forces to make merry. Siddaramaiah gave them free hand when he was the chief minister,” he said.
Responding to the query on suspected terrorists carrying out bomb blasting rehearsal at Bantwal, the minister said, “The police and NIA are investigating these acts, which are spread at international level, in different angles.”
BJP district president Sudarshan Moodbidri and R C Narayan, district president of backward communities were present.
