Bantwal: Rider seriously injured in bus-scooter collision

Bantwal, Sep 30: A scooter rider suffered serious injuries as KSRTC bus hit his scooter at Jakribettu on B C Road – Punjalakatte highway on Thursday September 29.

Mohammed Suhail (40), a resident of Beltangady is the scooter rider who is injured seriously. He is admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru.

Suhail had been to Kelaginapete of Bantwal and was going back to Beltangady via Bantwal town. The accident took place as he was approaching the highway at Jakribettu.

Locals said that many accidents have taken place at this spot earlier, also but no action is taken so far.

Bantwal traffic police are investigating further.
