LS Speaker Will Decide on PAC Draft Report: Sibal

New Delhi, May 1 (PTI) HRD Minister Kapil Sibal has termed the draft PAC report on 2G Spectrum allocation as "not a report" because it has not been adopted by the Parliamentary Committee, but said it is for Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar to decide on the matter.

"The PAC Chairman (Murli Manohar Joshi) himself said he had adjourned the meeting. So obviously for a report to be adopted, it has to be adopted either unanimously or by a majority. In any case it was not adopted by a majority, so there is no report," Sibal told Karan Thapar on CNN-IBN's Devil's Advocate programme.

He was asked to comment on the status of the PAC report submitted by Joshi to the Speaker.

"For it to be an official report it has to be adopted.

No Wonder Congress will never allow the report to be Published which is the SAGA of corrupt Congress Party
First Congress said no JPC because there is PAC. They wasted one full session of Parliament costing several hundred crores of tax payer's money Now they are caught with their pants down, they are sabotaging the PAC report
See the line up -Congress,DMK, SP, BSP All chors SP & BSP must have got a tidy sum.It seems that Congress government is just above law and order. They made an PAC, made opposition party leader as Chairman(fools) but they did put 11 members of their own team in it so always they have an edge. SP and BSP are faceless party. When whole congress party is a band baaja raja party, how can they accept the PAC report.
Having said that it doesent mean that BJP's hands are cleansed with milk.
