Bantwal: Hotel owner who sexually harassed boy arrested

Bantwal, Oct 7: Police arrested man, owner of hotel, who sexually harassed a minor boy, who went to get food parcel from his hotel at Kalladka.

The accused is identified as Mohammed Ashraf, owner of a hotel situated on Vittal Road at Kalladka. Around two months ago, the victim had been to the hotel owned by accused to buy chicken tikka. Ashraf had called the boy to come inside the hotel to collect the carry bag and then took him to a farm nearby and sexually harassed him.

Again on October 4, Mohammed attempted to sexually assault the boy, but the victim boy resisted his attempt. Mohammed had later assaulted him and threatened to kill him.
