Bantwal, Oct 8: In an accident that occurred at Koovethila bend between Kabaka and Mittur between a bus and a motorcycle on Friday October 7, the rider was seriously injured.
Jagga alias Jagadish Gowda (28), resident of Koovethila and a tanker driver by profession, is the one who suffered injuries in the accident.
The bus was plying from B C Road to Puttur and Jagadish was riding from the opposite side. Both vehicles collided head-on at a bend at Koovethila. Due to the impact of the collision, the motorcycle went underneath the front portion of the bus.
The motorcycle belonged to injured Jagadish’s friend, who had bought it just a week ago. Injured Jagadish is admitted to a private hospital in Puttur.
