Kasargod, Oct 9: Police arrested two people including a woman accused of trading in narcotics in a lodge at Hosangadi of Manjeshwar.
Sooraj Rai (26), a resident of Manjeshwar Badaje and Saina D’Souza (23), native of Thane in Maharashtra are the arrested accused.
Police seized 21 grams MDMA narcotic and Rs 10, 850 cash from them. The raid was conducted based on the definite tip off received by SP Dr Vaibhav Saxena. DySP Manoj led the operation.
