Mumbai, May 2: Governor K Shankaranarayan conferred Seva Bharat Award to Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, during the concluding ceremony of silver jubilee celebrations of metro-based Seva Bharati at Shanmukhanand auditorium here on Saturday April 30.

Seva Bharati silver jubilee commit honorary president B Vivek Shetty presided.

Intel Global Services CEO Susheel Kumar M, Charisma Builders managing director Sudhir V Shetty, C R India managing director Jayaram N Shetty and Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti founder Tonse Jayakrishna A Shetty were the guests of honour.

Dr Veerendra Heggade released Seva Bharati silver jubilee bulletin on the occasion.

Seva Bharati honorary treasurer chartered accountant Sadashiv B Shetty, award committee president Dharmapal U Devadiga and others were present on the dais.

Pavan Madhusudan rendered the prayers. Seva Bharati president Jaya K Shetty welcomed the gathering. Award committee president Dharmapal U Devadiga read the felicitation letter. G T Acharya, Sadhashiv B Shetty, Praveen D Shetty, Vidhyanand S Karkera introduced the guests.

Nityanand D Kotian and Beena Menon compered the programme. Honorary chief secretary Bhaskar A Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.

Vasudeiva Kutumbakam, a blend of traditional and modern dance recital was staged as part of cultural programme by the artistes directed by Veenamurti, Vijay, Surya N Rao and Kshama Krishna, Bangalore.

Seva Bharat Mahan, dance show was staged by the artistes of Kala Sourabha, directed by Padmanabha Sasihitlu and Shailaja Madhusudan as part of entertainment programme.
