Threats to US Appear on Al Qaeda-Linked Website

Washington, May 2 (IANS): Threats against the US have appeared on a website linked with terror outfit Al Qaeda, whose chief Osama bin Laden was killed in Paksitan, CNN reported.

The threats appeared on the Shumukh al-Islam forum, the "exclusive outlet" for official messages from Al Qaeda, said the SITE Intelligence Group that monitors online jihad activities.

"America will reap the same if the news is true," said one post on the website.

Another said: "The lions will remain lions and will continue moving in the footsteps of Osama."
