Mangaluru, Oct 11: A case is filed in which it is accused that a person was fleeced Rs 5.73 lac on the pretext of supplying laptops.
An entrepreneur from the city is selling spare parts of laptop and computers. He was approached by Manoj Chaurasia of Vaishali city in Jaipur saying that he will supply laptops at low price. Accordingly, in the month of August, the city entrepreneur bought two laptops from him.
A few days later Manoj Chaurasia and his assistant Suraksha Kandelwal called the entrepreneur and offered a deal to buy some more laptops. Accordingly, the entrepreneur placed order for 15 HP brand laptops and carry bags. He also paid Rs 5.73 lac for the same. However, Chaurasia did not supply the laptops and cheated the entrepreneur.
When the police tracked about Manoj Chaurasia, it has come to light that he has deceived many businessmen dealing in computers in the city. Mangaluru north police station personnel are probing further.
