Sullia: Accused absconding for 19 years arrested, remanded to JC

Sullia, Oct 12: The Sullia police have arrested an accused who has been absconding for the past 19 years.

The accused is K M Siddik, a resident of Kallapatha Vaithry, Vayanadu district, Kerala. He was wanted under CC 1338/2003 under sections 457 and 380 of IPC. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

He was arrested on October 11 and produced at S C J & J M F C court.

SIddik has been remanded to judicial custody and is lodged at Mangaluru district prison.
