Mangaluru, Oct 12: St Aloysius Pre-University College, one of Mangaluru’s most reputed institutes is organising the fourth edition of SAPMUN 2022 from November 4 to 6.
SAPMUN, known as St Aloysius Pre-University Model United Nations, is a replication of the United Nations.
Students will represent a specific country or state and will be assigned to committees with respective agendas. These agendas are issues that are of global importance. Students will make decisions based on their country’s stance and pass resolutions/solutions that can solve the issue at hand.

MUNs are of great importance as they are useful in improving public-speaking, critical thinking, writing and team-work skills. It is an excellent platform that allows the youth to be vocal in today's tumultuous world.
The age limit for participation is 14 years to 18 years.
SAPMUN is an academic simulation of the United Nations, where students assume the roles of different countries/states. They will discuss about issues of global concern and take part in negotiations with other countries.
It will aid in transforming their communication, critical thinking, researching and debating skills. The event will be held offline at the St Aloysius College.
The college has encouraged students to use this unique opportunity and it looks forward to participation of many other colleges..
