Bantwal, Oct 12: An unidentified person has stolen cash from the drawer of a shop in broad daylight here. The act has been captured on a CCTV camera.
The thief removed cash from the drawer of the shop belonging to S R Tyre owner Sandeep situated in front of Mini Vidhana Soudha office.
The thief has made use of the time available to him when Sandeep was away for a while on Tuesday, October 11 at about 12 noon and asked the driver of a car to park the vehicle away from the entrance to the shop.
The thief opened the drawer and decamped with a cash of Rs 10,000 from it. Sandeep came to know of the theft when he grew suspicious and saw the act captured by the CCTV camera.
