Riyadh, May 4: Aangann Kutam (Aangann Konknechem Riyadh) celebrated Pask Porob here by lighting candles and singing “ Alleluei Alleluei Chisth Mornanthlo Jivanth Zala” along with prayer by Janet Herry D’ Souza Mudarangadi.
Arun D’ Souza Palimar spread the Easter message True Love of Our Savior. A well wisher of Aangann Carol Alan D’Souza released the CD of Vincent Fernandes, Casia’s “Mogachi Lahran” Volume 7.
Vincent's creative skills are classic which had been on display at many occasions. His great musical experiments were evidenced during his show at St. Michael’s Church in Sharjah. Empowered with this success and renowned confidence. Vincent is geared up to offer an extraordinary performance during his show at Al Nasar Leisure land on the 9 Dec. He says that it is going to be a unique show. “I have been working very hand for the past 3 years to have my first ever individual show in Dubai and the response from the community is excellent. Vincent has all praise towards his fans, friends and well wishers who have extended unconditional support to him over the years.
In this album, a well known singers, including Vijay Yesudas, son of legendary singer Yesudas. Prem Lobo, Rathan Castelinho, Rony D’ Cunha, Claud D’Souza have rendered their voice along with Vincent and his son. Ace Goan Musicians, Rameiro is the music director, both for the show and the CD.
Amitha and Royston Prabhu Bejai conducted games for children and adults. Special Jokes were cracked by Carol D’ Souza Urwa followed by Mimicry from Wilson Sequeira Paladka.
The programme was conducted by secretary of Aangann, Glen Roshan Lobo Bondel and advisor of Aangann, Royston Amitha Prabhu , Bejai.
Sumptuous dinner was served to all. Delicious food was arranged by Felix D’ Silva, Mira Road, Francis D’ Souza, Derebail and Marcel Janet D’ Souza, Shirva.
Finally Housie-housie was conducted by Royston Prabhu, Bejai.

Music can build communities. Music binds two hearts. Music can bury the sorrow and bring happiness” says Vincent Fernandes , a gulf based renowned Konkani singer. Hence all his albums till date have been appropriately named ‘Mogachi Lahran’ (Waves of Love ).
Vincent says that it’s only love that remains. All other materialistic things are temporary in life. The waves of love are not only meant for the love birds, but at large the society should share love for the betterment of the talents, betterment of the community and by large for the improvement of the Konkani language and its culture.
Vincent, the power behind the ‘Mogachi Lahran’ was born to Late Fredrick and Mary Fernandes. He is fourth amongst the siblings. He was always motivated towards music right from his childhood. He is known for creative ideas, singing and dancing. His inclination towards dancing had won him many accolades. He had won second runner up for dancing in the Karnataka state level competition. e was well known for his dancing skills alongside singing, before moving to Kuwait in search of greener pastures.
Vincent developed the knack of writing lyrics and composing music since childhood. Besides Konkani, he has penned songs and composed music in Tulu, Kannada and Hindi languages. One of his songs has been selected for a Kannada movie which is yet to be released In 1997 he fulfilled his dream of composing his own album. The first album that was released in Kuwait become an instant and Vincent’s name became synonymous among Konkani music lovers in Kuwait Rony D’Cunha, Aparna Mayekar and Late Ivan Noronha are the few singers who have lent voice to some of his albums. His debutante song, ‘Mogha Munn Apoitolom has become an all time super hit Komble, Mogachi Lahran, Bavli, Asetalin, Lavi Lavi Laveena are the few numbers from volume I which are very popular and have been played during most of the wedding functions.
Vincent released his 2nd and 3rd Album in Kuwait, followed by 4th , 5th and 6th Albums in Dubai. His tunes have become extremely popular among music lovers. For his tremendous knowledge in the music and excellent composition skills especially for creating marvelous tunes in the 6th volume. ‘Famad Pernal’ a premier organization in the UAE has conferred on Vincent the title Kings of Tunes Award” in May 2009.
