Mysore: Dorjee Khandu Tragedy - Yeddyurappa Wary of Using Helicopter

Daijiworld Media Network – Mysore (SP)

Mysore, May 6 (Thatskannada): It is gathered that the tragic deaths of Arunachal Pradesh chief minister, Dorjee Khandu, and Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Y S Rajashekhar Reddy in helicopter crashes, has given rise to a sense of fear in Karnataka chief minister, B S Yeddyurappa.

Yeddyurappa, who used to hop around the state in helicopter, is learnt to have decided to shun helicopter travel at least till the end of this rainy season.

On Thursday May 5, he was to take part in several programmes in Hunsur taluk of the district. The CM refused to take up helicopter travel. Instead, he came to the local airport in Mandakalli by a light aircraft.

When questioned by reporters, the CM said that lot of precautions and procedures need to be followed while undertaking travel by helicopter, and that vagaries of climate are to be taken into account before such sojourns. While lamenting the death of Khandu and praying to the Lord to bless the soul of Khandu, he said he had taken the decision not to use helicopter till the end of the coming rainy season.

It need not come as a surprise if more chief ministers follow suit in course of time.

This Mr.Yeddi fooled Karnataka people in all the ways. Black Magic which is made by himself to get popularity, crying in the public as a divorced lady, acting like great prophet in most temples, and now acting like scary cat!!!!!!!

Mr. CM no one will live forever in this world and it is better to live one day as a brave, intelligent, sincere, honest, and truthful person than live 100 years like culprit, cheater, fool, back stabber, and as stupid. Fly in the helicopter and still you are scare go ask your fortune and look any air crash in your fate.

    Mr. Chief Minister.

This is indeed a wise decision on your part. However you should stop using Helicopters not because you are afraid of death but because of the expense involved. I wish all ministers adopt this concept and save tax payers money. Again C.M. how will run a government if you are so afraid of your life. Many ministers have died in bed... would you therefore stop going to bed? Be brave and set an example to others. Going to temples will not solve the problems of The State. What is required is selfless service to The Community.

It is better Saved tax payers money. Temple visits and visiting Gods could be reduced. It's a wise dicision. Other CMs visited God soon by flying. Looks stupid but true.
Other options could be CM could be trained for sky diving due to thier frequent travel can help to save thier lives.
