'Cannot deliver mandate': Liz Truss quits as UK Prime Minister

London, Oct 20 (IANS): UK's beleaguered Prime Minister Liz Truss, facing opposition from within the party over her handling of the economy and exit of key ministers, resigned on Thursday.

Addressing reporters outside 10 Downing Street, Truss, noting that she came into office at a time of "great economic and international instability", said: "I recognise... given the situation I cannot deliver the mandate on which I was elected by the Conservative Party."

Truss had succeeded Boris Johnson in early September, after emerging triumphant in the Conservative Party leadership contest over former Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak.

Whatever UK has now, was all looted from India. Loot never lasts. It is no secret that the CEOs of all leading companies abroad are also Indians. This is because of brain drain here ! Looters can never be good rulers. What can you expect from the ilk that stole Saddam Hussein's Golden Piano? 🤔🤔Time comes a full circle. Wait n Watch.

How/why did Indian GDP go to negative points in Dec. 2019 ( note, before Covid hit the nation) from 8.5 in 2014 when the party took over from the previous government ? Was the Indian economy too a loot ?? From where ? Swiss Banks ?? Did Modi actually bring the loot of previous government back, but didn't distribue to citizens as he promised ?? Kedhar... your explanation awaited.

Heard Brits are cutting down on eating dinner as they cannot afford 3 meals a day due to high inflation. The English and Europeans and the Americans are in deep trouble . The only star that shines now is India . The US and Russia are war mongers .. They both have deep state actors who gain immensely due to war. Cannot imagine they will go to war at this juncture when the world is just recovered from Covid.

Rishi Sunak was born, bred, educated and earned a living in UK and of course would inherit a big bundle of money from his father -in-law. But His loyalty and interests go to Britain and not to India. Remember that!
