Kharge to take charge as Congress chief, pays tributes to Mahatma Gandhi

New Delhi, Oct 26 (IANS): Ahead of his official takeover as the Congress president on Wednesday, Mallikarjun Kharge paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at the Rajghat, and also visited the Samta Sthal and Shakti Sthal.

Kharge will be taking his charge at 10.30 a.m. at the AICC headquarters. Over 1000 artists will perform at the ceremony, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said, "About 1400 Indian artists will perform and 100 from abroad."

Rahul Gandhi will also be present along with Sonia Gandhi.

An invite for the function was sent out by party General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, "Function for the presentation of certificate of election to the newly elected Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge will be held on Wednesday the 26th October 2022 at 10.30 a.m. at AICC Headquarters, 24 Akbar Road, New Delhi. You are cordially invited to attend the function."

    Leo Varadkar the current PM of Ireland is of Indian descent.As late as 2003 he completed his internship at KEM Mumbai.India does not talk of him because his mother is Irish Catholic and His father is a Maharashtra. Antonio Costa the current PM of Portugal is of Indian descent born to parents from Goa.But India does not recognize him. Both these guys are into their second terms as PM. Unfortunately,they are Christians. So just do not understand this hype of Rishi Sunak ,what makes him different from the other two guys ? (the above information's through sources) Mark Denis D'souza

    Congratulations to Mr. Kharge,(Charge de Affairs). Now, the question is who will be the PM if Congress wins. Is it Rahul, Sonia, Priyanka or Kharge? Will Kharge make saastang namaskar to Ghandi clan? Yet to be seen. Tharoor was a better choice. But people will ask " who killed Sunanda?" wherever he goes . Anyway, best of luck Khargeji.

    We Indians are very cheap-thinking people when it comes to power-sharing!! our thoughts are very stringy and we always blame the BRITISH and Britishers giving a tight slap on all Indian's dirty Faces by electing an ex-Indian whose ancestor left the country without giving a second thought to NATIONALISM and HINDUISM OR SANTAHANA DHARMA Then why can't SONIA GANDHI be a Prime Minister of INDIA !!! Why is that much anger on her!!!! why PM afraid of losing Hindu identity?
