Abu Dhabi, May 8: Konkani Cultural Organisation (K.C.O.) Abu Dhabi is all set to host, ‘Fiesta 2011’, a fun filled day packed with variety entertainment, on Friday, 27th May 2011 from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Gold Ball Room of Abu Dhabi Country Club, which is situated next to Abu Dhabi Immigration Department.
The new format and new Location will make this event an exciting one. It will be a welcome change from the traditional KCO programmes, which has already generated tremendous interest among the entertainment lovers of Abu Dhabi.
K.C.O. is known for its innovative ideas in entertaining the Mangalorean and Goan audience with their novel ideas and have managed to present various shows since past years.
Preparations are on full swing for this mega event. K.C.O. members brimming with enthusiasm will spare no efforts to make this event a great hit and the best ever!

Gerald D’mello – the current K.C.O. President says, that encouraged by previous successes and support, they have chosen a bigger venue this time to accommodate more people. As ‘Fiesta 2011’ is a fusion of Konkani, English and Bollywood numbers, its sure to attract a wider audience. KCO has chosen brilliant star performers – the young and upcoming star Ester, the Master entertainer Kenny, who is making waves in the UAE since the past month, Goa’s No. Uno Band “the Lynx band” and the scintillating Bollywood dancers will rock this event like never before with their electrifying performances and make it a day to remember. The whole show will be coordinated by the one and only master compere Leslie Rego – the lovable compere beyond compare.
This event is put together in support of K.C.O.’s special philanthropic projects mainly education of underprivileged children. At the moment K.C.O. is supporting 138 students at various university levels. Scholarships are being distributed as the new academic year approaches, managed through the K.C.O. Trust, Mangalore.
So with all the entertainment and fun that goes with it, it is KCO’s earnest desire that the audience will be supporting a noble cause.
