Karnataka reports 148 fresh Covid cases, positivity rate at 1.93 percent

Bengaluru, Oct 29: Karnataka on Saturday, October 29, reported 148 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 1,982. Bengaluru urban's single-day tally is 102.

Two deaths were reported due to coronavirus in the state on Saturday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,256.

The state recorded 128 discharges from hospitals on Saturday, taking the total discharges to 40,26,446.

So far, Karnataka has seen 40,68,726 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 1.93 %. As many as 12,04,86,459 people have received vaccination so far.
