Bangalore: Remove Three K'taka Ministers Over Illegal Mining - NGO

Bangalore, May 11 (PTI): An NGO waging a battle against illegal mining, today asked Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa to drop three ministers of Bellary including Tourism Minister G Janardhana Reddy from the ministry alleging that their involvement in illegal mining "has been proved".

National Committee for Protection of Natural Resources (NCPNR) President S R Hiremath alleged at a press conference here that Reddy brothers entered into raising contract with two mining firms in Ramgadh Area in Sandur taluk, which he said "highlights the fact that they were into illegal mining in Karnataka".

Under the raising contract, a person is permitted to carry out mining activity on behalf of the mining lease holder.

He said "this fact" had also called into question the claims by Yeddyurappa that there was no illegal mining in the state and his government had taken steps to check it.

If Yeddy by mistakenly touchs Reddy brothers, then there could not be further BJP govt in Karanataka. So far in three years all corrupt ministers stayed in office due to blackmail politics including CM,Yeddy. There is no good precedent of parliment democracy in Karnataka under BJP govt.It is on record to whom to ask resignations?Vertually the whole cabinet are under allegations of corruptions, rape, molestations, nepotism,,,,,,,,,,,,,,!BJP Govt either with YEDDYS and REDDYS and sans them is no BJP GOVT in Karanataka!

Mr. NGO is in a hurry to remove CM by pressurising CM to remove three Ministrs. They are to be tried in the court of Law and then only action can be taken if proved guilty. Why he is targeting only ministers in the ruling Govt. !
