Doctors' advice and prescriptions may help some patients to recover from their illness. For most patients, espcially patients who have chronic diseases and who have undergone many doctors' examinations, operations and prescriptions are not the solution. Chronic patients need nurses' love, encouragement, smiles, and gentle touch help them to endure their suffering. As we celebrate a happy International Nurses' day, we pray for and salute the nurses who work tirelessly, selflessly, and unconditionally to give comfort to the patients

But often it is an uncanny yet well honed knack to see beyond the obvious and address, in some way, the deeper needs of the human soul.
