Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 14: Dakshina Kannada on Monday, November 14, reported one new coronavirus case while nil cases were registered in Udupi.

The total number of positive cases in the Dakshina Kannada district has risen to 1,37,173, out of which 4 are currently active. No patients were discharged on November 14.

No deaths were reported on November 14. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,861.

The district administration has urged people to strictly continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authorities.

Positivity rate for the day stood at 0.58 percent.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.

Udupi

Nil coronavirus cases were reported on November 14. The total active Covid cases are 3.

A total of 10,90,844 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,86,690 have received both doses and 2,98,502 people have received booster doses.
