Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 15: Dakshina Kannada and Udupi on Tuesday, November 15, reported nil new coronavirus cases.

The total number of positive cases in the Dakshina Kannada district has risen to 1,37,173, out of which 4 are currently active. No patients were discharged on November 15.

No deaths were reported on November 15. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,861.

The district administration has urged people to strictly continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authorities.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.

Udupi

Nil coronavirus cases were reported on November 15. The total active Covid cases are three.

A total of 10,90,848 people have received the first dose of vaccination and 10,86,704 have received both doses and 2,98,539 people have received booster doses.
