Yeddyurappa to Parade MLAs Before President to Prove Majority

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore

Bangalore, May 16: Chief minister Yeddyurappa will parade his MLAs before the President in Delhi on Tuesday May 17 to prove his majority in Karnataka assembly.

Speaking to the media at MG road here, where BJP is staging a protest against governor H R Bhardwaj for recommending President's rule on the state, senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu lashed out at the governor calling him an agent of Congress and comparing him to king Mohammed Bin Tughlaq who is known in history for his erratic decisions.

Naidu said that first the governor accepted the letters of support from the MLAs, and then sent a letter to Delhi asking for the suspension of the state assembly. "Is this a tamasha?" Naidu demanded, and accused Bhardwaj of wanting to rule over the state. "The governor has no respect for the Constitution," he added.

Meanwhile, BJP high command has summoned all its chief ministers to Delhi. An NDA delegation which is reviewing the situation in Karnataka, is expected to meet the President on Monday evening and will also hold a meeting with the Prime Minister. The NDA has demanded the recall of Bhardwaj at the earliest.

Yeddyurappa was not present at the protest at MG road, instead he has proceeded to the Vidhana Soudha where a cabinet meeting will be held shortly.

In New Delhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called a high-level meeting to discuss the Karnataka crisis, which was attended by S M Krishna, P Chidambaram, Pranab Mukherjee and A K Antony.

However, government sources at the centre have stated that there is no hurry in taking a decision on the governor's report and that it will be studied carefully and due process will be followed.

Richard Moras Baharin,Your assesment on article 356 is very very poor.To dismiss state govt both Houses of Parliment should ratify the dicision of Union cabinet provided above said dicripencies were existed(you said)But what is the issue here? It is not majority minority in the house issue it is matter of Yeddy's unconsitutional contiunation in power as per SC.He had cooked majority in the floor test in first and second incident and hand in glove with Speaker undermining the Great CONSTITUTION of India.Do you think these two people must leave scot free?Corruptions bla bla are another subject which might included all political partie including Yeddy.

GLADSON,BRAHMAVAR,IT IS BETTER IF YOU KNOW ABOUT THE CONSTITUTION FIRST.A STATE GOVERNMENT CAN BE SACKED IF THERE IS A BREAKDOWN OF LAW & ORDER OR IF THE STATE GOVERNMENT HAS LOST MAJORITY IN THE ASSEMBLY.THE SUPREME COURT HAS DELIVERED MANY JUDGEMENTS RULING THE DISMISSAL OF STATE GOVERNMENTS AS UNCONSTITUTIONAL INCLUDING THE S.R.BOMMAI CASE.ANY PRESIDENT OF INDIA HAS DISMISSED THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT ON THIS BASIS?THE SUPREME COURT HAS PULLED UP THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS LIKE 2G SCAM,BLACK
MONEY ABROAD,BHOPAL GAS LEAK CASE,COMMONWEALTH GAMES ETC. CAN THESE ISSUES CAN BE AN EXCUSE TO DISMISS THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT?I AGREE THAT ABUSIVE LANGUAGE SHOULD NOT BE UESD.BUT IT IS BEING USED AGAINST THE CHIEF MINISTER ALSO.HAVE SOME FEELINGS WITHOUT BIAS.

SHAMELESS REBELS, MONEY AND MINSITRIAL BERTHS WAS PROMISED TO THEM, IMMEDIATELY THEY CHANGED. THEN WHY THEY WENT TO COMPLAIN TO SC REGARDING THE SPEAKER AND YEDDY ? IS THIS A TAMASHA, NADIDU. WHAT BJP IS THINKING ? THEY CAN DO ANYTHING AND RUN THE STATE AS ITS THEIR FORE FATHERS STATE. WHEN THEY WANTED THEY THREW THE REBELS OUT AND AFTER THE SC VERDICT WHEN YEDDY CAME TO KNOW HIS CHAIR WILL GO HE TOOK THEM BACK TO GET MAJORITY. KARNATAKA POLITICS HAS BECOME A TAMASHA SINCE YEDDY TOOK OVER AS CM. EVERYDAY NEW NEW DRAMAS. DEVELOPMENT IS NIL. ONLY LOOTING AND OPERATION KAMALA IS GOING ON SINCE 3 YEARS. NO ONE TO QUESTION CM. HE ONLY TAKES ALL THE DECISIONS WHAT TO DO AND WHAT NOT TO DO.

NO HIGH COMMAND AT ALL. GOES TO DELHI 10 TIMES A MONTH TO GIVE THE BJP PRESIDENT AND OTHER BJP LEADERS THE LOOTED MONEY, SO THAT YEDDY WILL BE SAFE. KEEP ON VISITING TEMPLES AND MUTTS AND GIVES THEM ALSO LOOTED MONEY AND THE SWAMIS ARE ALSO HAPPY. PARADING REBLES TO SHOW STRENGTH IN FRONT OF PRESIDENT IS A TAMASHA. SHAMELESS CM FOR POWER ANY EXTEND HE WILL GO. GOVERNOR IS DOING A WONDERFUL JOB AND HE SHOULD BE CONGRADULATED. HE IS AN EXPEREINCED POLITICIAN AND KNOWS WHAT TO DO ? NAIDU AND JAITLEY NEED NOT ADVISE GOVERNOR WHAT HE SHOULD DO ? WHO IS JAITLEY ? HE IS JUST AN OPPOSITION LEADER IN RAJSABHA.

Manvit what a paradox! Watchmen and waiters of an Italian restaurant seem to have more knowledge of Indian Constitution than Yeddy, Reddy and Co who are chosen by people to govern. Just like your leaders, you supporters too have a foul and loose tongue. The language you use for Constitutional authority such as Gov shows how much you guys believe in Indian Constitution and Indian culture. Before scribbling your non-sense and uncouth comments on these forums, better you first attend some classes on etiquettes. Whatever you blabber or whatever you may shout from the top of your roofs, first know the fact that it is not anyone but the SC itself has delivered verdict that Gov has been right in this case. What 'Raja Dharma' does Yeddy and his colleagues follow? Aren't these the same people who once threw these rebels out? And now that the time has come when they know that they cannot survive without them, they are busy cuddling and kissing the same rebels. How come those who were rebels for over 6 months suddenly become friends now? We all know how frustrated you are these days seeing your Gurus fighting for the chair just like the dogs for bones thrown on the streets. In the last 3 years BJP has paraded the judiciary, the law & order and the Constitution naked in the state with their arrogance and love for power. So what difference does it make if they parade these MLAs? After all Karnakata BJP MLAs are showpieces who are just fit to be paraded.

Mr.Naidu Tamasha BJP is doing in Karnataka since 3 years. Why you are blaming Governor. Governor is doing his job and he knows very well his job. Yeddy is playing with the Governor. First he removed the 16 Rebels and now taken them back after SC verdict. Is this a TAMASHA ? He lured them with Money and took them back to the party and saying he has got Majority. Is this a Tamasha Naidu ? What BJP is thinking ? When Yeddy came to know his CHAIR is going after SC verdict he got scared and promised Rebels Ministerial  Posts and Crores to support him. They also Greedy people agreed. Is this a Tamasha Naidu what BJP is doing. Let the Governor do his work. BJP need not worry. Only Horse Trading and Operation Kamala is going on since 3 years and even now also. Is it NCC Parade to Parade Rebels in front of President ? Is President a Fool like Yeddy and Naidu.

Why our cm did not invite the rebels MLAS before they filed the case in supreme court. If he would done it then one can agree his statements, but why now after the verdict in sc. that means he wants power to stay by bribing them giving minestrial berth. jai karnataka
