Kalmadi's Bail Plea Deferred to May 21


New Delhi, May 16 (IANS) The bail plea of Suresh Kalmadi, former Commonwealth Games organising committee chairman and Congress MP, was postponed to May 21 by a court here Monday.

Kalmadi is in judicial custody for alleged financial irregularities in the preparations for the mega-event in October 2010. He is accused of conspiring to give the contract for Timing Scoring and Result (TSR) equipment to a Swiss company at exorbitant rates.
