Cong-JD(S) MLAs Threaten Mass Resignation if Centre Rejects Report

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore

Bangalore, May 16: In a bid to support governor's recommendation to suspend the state assembly, Congress and JD(S) MLAs in the state have decided to tender mass resignation, if the centre rejects the special report sent by governor H R Bharadwaj to impose President's rule in the state.

Congress legislators and leaders, led by state Congress chief Parameshwar, who held a meeting in a private hotel in Bangalore have reportedly decided to send their resignation letters to the high command. This move could put more pressure on the Congress high command to take the governor's report seriously.

It is also gathered that both Congress and JD(S) MLAs will be flying to New Delhi soon to parade in front of President Pratibha Patil and to convey her that the political scenario in the state has worsened and money power has been playing a major role in state administration, and therefore, the present state government needs to be dismissed.

Top Congress leaders, Siddaramaiah, C K Jaffer Sharief, R V Deshpande, Motamma, Ugrappa and other leaders attended the meeting.

It is also gathered that, JD(S) MLAs too are planning on the same lines, and both Congress and JD(S) leaders are expected to meet on Tuesday May 17.

Under the present set up, the congress has no chance of winning in Karnataka. Too many leaders and too few followers. Instead of running to Raj Bhavan every second day, it would be better that they forget power and go back to the villages and try to rebuild the party just like how the late YSR did in Andhra. The congress should forget about power for 4-5 years and only then they will have a chance for a strong comeback with a strong leader. In the meantime just allow the BJP to self destruct itself. Yeddy will fall sooner or later. His own friends who are united today will see to it for sure.

The Congress must identify, nurture and project a really good, efficient and dynamic leader of the stature of Mr.S M Krishna in the state to counter the present incompetent governance.

Everyone knows that the BJP government in the state has lost all the credibility to rule Karnataka and the people want change.

But under the present circumstances, there seems to be no viable alternative available. The general feeling is that a known devil is better than an unknown angel.

HENRY MISQUITH, Bahrain please dont worry about those states which you mentioned. In those states BJP doesnt have anything to loose as BJP didnt have any existence over there before. Also the BJP was not in race in those states. In case if the BJP would have got 1 or 2 seats also it would have been gain for BJP over there.

    Dear all:

I am fed up of BJP governement. The most corrupt in the history of Karnataka. Yeddy has money in crores to give it to temples. He has no rights to give peoples money to temple. Let him give from his pocket. Now a days Daiji is not publishing my comments because they also do not want the truth to be spoken. I am ashamed to spel the name of YEDDI, the most corrupt. Even though Modi is a roudy, he has done his best for Gujarat. Why people of Karnataka are still giving votes, only the reason because of Swamiji's. Karnataka people should drive out BJP in Karnataka, like Kerala and Tamil Nadu. We definitely need President's rule for at least one year. I wish Military rule is the only way for the survival of Karnataka. My heart is disturbed about BJP corrupt rule a lawless government.

Resignation threat by opposition may be only to put pressure on Centre but I am sure UPA government will take the right decision in the matter. BJP supporters here are trying to put the blame on opposition parties and governor but the fact is BJP and Mr. Yedyurappa are solely responsible for the mess. There is no point in blaming the opposition parties because opposition parties are there to oppose and they are doing exactly the same. Mr. Yedyurappa also would have done the same thing if he would have in opposition.

This government is in crisis from day one, for one or other reasons and this shows their inexperience and immaturity in running the government. Now they are blaming the Governor but who has asked them to create problems for themselves thus giving leverage to Governor to act.

It is sad that most of their time is spent on setting right their house in order within BJP and hardly there is any governance in the state.

Karnataka BJP government is treated as No. one government involved in corruption according to some leading megazines like Outlook. Therefore, it is necessary to throw out the government immediately without delay so that corruption will be minimised for the time being. The steps taken by the Governnor is correct and justiable.

For your kind information do you know how many seats were won by  Italian Mummy and Rahul Baba's party? - 4 seats out of the 294 seats contested by them. That is after making 15 trips to the state by both of them. Now you know where mama and baba stand?

I am sorry to say for the last number of years these Congis have played with humans. Some time communal cards some time divide the people on religious lines and todays polity is on the guidelines of Congress policy only. People tend to learn tricks from the ruling party and whatever happened today is the outcome of that policy. If situation is conducive for Congress they will walk extra miles and dismiss democratically elected governments, if it does not suit they dump their own leaders.

In Karntaka these old Congis have no other option but to resort such type of gimmicks to save their Chairs. The situation is truly death bed for Congress in Karnataka. There are people such as Shri Janardhan Poojary who shoots his mouth for unwanted things only to be in public glare and at the end get brickbats from his own colleagues and general public. Let these Congress leaders resign from MLAship and face the election. Not a single seat would be theirs in the future elections.

Case is more than 100% fit for sacking yeddy government as supreme court clearly says Boppa manipulated the votes of the house by sacking mlas in order to survive with minority government. Problem is Both Governor and central government have lost their credibility totally.Central government has no courage to sack government as it does not want one more trouble as it is already surrounded by problems and does not want to give another tool for Jaitley to talk. Morever it does not want to accept a report from a governor who many people feel agent of congress . If central wants to keep corrupt BJP govt ,The decision from central also will be biased. Morever Bjp has prepared the paid goondas to make protests if govt is sacked and thus gain sysmpathy (same thing they did when gowda refused to transfer power). With this 3 above unreliable parties involved it looks like Yeddy will survive himself though he should have been thrown 7 months back.Again case is absolutely ripe for sacking Yeddy and lets have no doubt it .

Instigate voilence by throwing stone hiding from behind and complain to Cow Guv about Law & order problem. Or 12th point when there is any problem for congress in the state or center, Narendra Modi is targetted by opening something fresh case against him by using some pawn.

He got maximum power and nothing did good for Karnataka people either as in Prime Minister or as CM. His only intention is to sit in driver seat and the same step is following his son. Today I feel Congress and JDS in Karnataka are Stupid and Idiots.
At the end of the day it is the people of Karnataka who are suffering.
I am surprised that even educated people in Karnataka are supporting the Speaker and CM knowing very well that they are the same people who raped and murdered the Indian Constitution on 11th October 2010.
Development has come to a standstill and even backward states in India are way ahead of Karnataka.
Infrastructure is Zero and there are more people dying in road accidents than in hospitals.
I only hope and pray that Karnataka does not become another Afghanistan.

    1) To save face governor will ask Yeddy to prove majority
    2) Some horse trading will happen
    3) Yeddy will win trust vote by hook or crook
    4) Governor will send another report saying govt has lost majority
    5) Back to square 1 until Sonia blinks
    6) Sonia will ask state congress can you definitely win majority. State congress will say give us money and we will but cannot guarantee
    7) Sonia will say if you cannot guarantee then pack your bags and get to the streets
    8) State congress back to streets to find more bakras
    9) Yeddy rules for 5 years
    10) State congress will hope anti-incumbancy will do in Yeddy

We are caught between 3 figures
(1)governor lost his credibility trying to derail the BJP government whether they do right or wrong. shameless person
    (2) A corrupt central congress government.Though the case is 100% ripe to put president rule and dissolve assembly they have no gurds as they themselves are surrounded by corruption. Morever they do not want to take the blame of a report given by unreliable person. Central government is more interested in gaining politically mileage than assessing correct situation in karnataka. Case is more than 100% fit for president rule. Problem is the presentor (governor) and imposer (Central) both have lost full credibilty .
    (c) 3rd is Most ugliest BJP government state ever seen perhaps. We thought earlier congress CMs were very corrupt,It proves BJp has gone several steps ahead in corruption.Leave alone the cm there are many monsterous ministers involved in corruption .Yeddy cannot take action as these fishes will finish him. Morever Yeddy has made the MLAS of opposition so cheap that he are buying them by paying cores. What can we expect from such Goverment and what can we expect from such unreliable MLA who ditches his mother party and sells himself relects himself by corruption. BJP has lost majority long back and by wicked methods they continued in power.Yeddy is confident will relects himself.Shame on us too !

Honestly, do you people think, any of these present govts(BJP,Congress,JDS) would sincerely work towards the development of the country or the State????......personally, i don't find any reason left to say yes. Fight against corruption is the need of the hour. We want a government which works towards the development without any selfish motives. We want a government which supports following valuables:

    * Fight against corruption
    * Fight against terrorism
    * A government that does not support communalism
    * Protects & Supports the minority, poor and downtrodden.
    * Supports all citizens equal under law
    * A govt that totally concentrate towards the development of the country

At the present scenario, i feel none of these govts(BJP,Congress,JDS,..) have the capability to do this unless there is a fundamental change in our constitutional law. So i humbly request the people, instead of supporting these selfish motivated governments, support for a good cause before it is too late....Please visit the following website to know more and act accordingly.
